TLC Annual Training – Day 2

Join us for the second day of our virtual annual training – 3 hours of CLE to be requested. Registration is required. Numerical codes will be provided throughout the training. Representing Children in Child Welfare Courts, by Rob Wyman, Jr. and Cathy Busha
The QIC-ChildRep Best Practice study was an examination of two things: 1) a high quality framework for legal representation of children and youth in child welfare courts, and 2) an intentional training program to educate and support attorneys to implement the model in their practice. We will describe the model itself, the training program used in the study, and then discuss the study, including what was measured and broad outcomes.
Procedure to Permanency, by Timothy Michaels-Johnson
This is an introduction to Title 10A, Oklahoma’s statutory procedures for achieving permanency for children involved in child welfare – from referral, to reunification, guardianship, or adoption.
Resources for Deprived Practice, by Timothy Michaels-Johnson
In an effort to support Tulsa Lawyers for Children’s volunteer attorneys, TLC has developed a number of resources that can support anyone’s deprived practice. This will be an introduction to those resources.
