Training: LASO Parent Representation Defense Program – How the Interdisciplinary Team Works Together

The LASO Parent Representation Defense Program will be explaining how the interdisciplinary team represents and defends parents involved in the child welfare and court system. They will discuss how the parent mentors and social workers work together with the parent attorney to engage the parent client in their case and services and help the client navigate the system. We will also highlight the extensive training our parent mentors receive and how they are colleagues on the parent defense team.
