Annual Training: QIC-Childrep Evidence-based Best Practices for Child Representation
August 11, 2022 - August 12, 2022

The QIC-ChildRep Best Practice Model, developed by the U.S. Children’s Bureau and the University of Michigan Law School, was empirically tested in the states of Georgia and Washington to determine the impact of the model on a randomly assigned group of attorneys. The group of QIC Model-trained attorneys initiated more contact with their clients, increased communication with others involved in the case, were more likely to be involved in conflict resolution and negotiations, and observed a measurable improvement in permanency outcomes for children.
This model formalizes a number of practices TLC currently encourages and we are excited to provide this training to a wider audience of attorneys throughout Oklahoma. Please mark your calendars and set aside those two dates for some fantastic training. Keep a look out for more information on registration with exact times and location.
Presented by the National Association of Counsel for Children.
